Healthy friend has ever tried ice head yet? This sweet and refreshing drink is indeed loved by many people in various places. Many people even claim to be addicted so often consume it. It’s just that, because it tastes so sweet, can we increase the risk of developing diabetes if we often consume ice head?
Reporting from the @balitakita_ Twitter account, in one portion of ice head we can get 5 tablespoons of milk powder which is equivalent to 395 calories, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder which is equivalent to 45 calories, 2 tablespoons of beans equivalent to 190 calories, and 90 grams of sweetened condensed milk which is equivalent to 296 calories. Eating a serving of frost ice makes us consume 926 calories! A very large number, right?
Meanwhile, the @KemenkesRI Twitter account highlights the many uses of sweetened condensed milk which is used as a mixture of certain foods and beverages, including ice head. The problem is, sweetened condensed milk is rich in sugar, fat and protein.
Through Permenkes No. 30 of 2013 which was later amended by Permenkes No. 63 of 2015 it was stated that it would be better if we limit the maximum sugar intake to 4 tablespoons or 50 grams, maximum sodium as much as 2,000 milligrams or about 1 teaspoon, and a maximum fat of 67 grams per day.
If we consume sugar, sodium, or fat more than this amount, the risk for serious health problems such as hypertension, stroke, heart attack, and diabetes will increase. In fact, in frost ice clearly has a high sugar and calorie content so that it can trigger the arrival of these diseases.
